What Is Playjacent™?

We bring together experiences that would ordinarily happen at different venues, in different scenes, on different nights, and make them available within one event.

The result is something that isn’t quite a conventional party, concert, festival, social club, or play party.

What Happens?

Every event is different, but the programming can include:

• DJs and live music
• Performances
• Games and conversation prompts
• Play Shops™ and workshops
• Body painting and art
• Vendors and installations
• Harm reduction tables
• Participatory activities
• Opportunities to meet new people
• Designated Play Spaces for public intimacy

Some activities are familiar. Others are things you might never have considered trying.

You decide how to participate.

Play Spaces

Sexual Play is one of the many ways adults can connect, and Life Itself doesn’t treat it as something that must be hidden from social life.

Every Playjacent™ event includes designated, regulated spaces for public intimacy.

These spaces are monitored by trained Regulators and operate under Life Itself’s consent procedures.

Depending on the event and venue, available environments may include:

• General Play Space
• Women’s Play Space
• Men’s Play Space
• Queer Play Space
• Other event-specific Play Spaces

These designated environments create additional choices. They do not define a guest’s identity or require anyone to participate.

VIPlay™

VIPlay™ is also an important component of the Life Itself experience.

Depending on the production, VIPlay™ can include premium admission privileges, earlier entry, and event-specific benefits or experiences.

The precise benefits and access arrangements are communicated through each event’s ticketing information.

VIPlay™ does not automatically provide access to every Play Space.

How It Works

1. Doorientation™

   When you arrive, you’ll be introduced to the event, its programming, and Life Itself’s consent expectations.

2. Explore the Event

   Meet people, listen to music, join games, experience performances, try body painting, or take part in Play Shops™ and workshops. Explore pop-ups, activations, and installations, including harm reduction tables, and follow whatever interests you.

3. The Vibe Check™

   Guests interested in entering designated Play Spaces must first complete The Vibe Check™ with a Regulator.

   The Vibe Check™ helps establish that guests understand the relevant expectations, boundaries, and consent requirements before entering.

4. Play, If You Choose

   If you and another consenting adult or adults decide to enter a Play Space, you may do so subject to its entry requirements.

   Consent remains necessary throughout.

Consent Is All.

Life Itself’s consent infrastructure includes Doorientation™, The Vibe Check™, trained Regulators, clear behavioral expectations, and monitoring throughout the event.

Trained Regulators, security, and on-site medical support are present to support guests throughout the event.

Consent must be freely given, reversible, informed, enthusiastic, and specific.

These expectations apply throughout Life Itself, not only inside Play Spaces.
