We use the FRIES framework: consent must be freely given, reversible, informed, enthusiastic, and specific.

Agreement to one activity is not agreement to another. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and uncertainty is a reason to pause.

These expectations apply throughout our events.

Our Consent Infrastructure

Doorientation™: Introduces guests to the event, its expectations, and its consent procedures.

The Vibe Check™: A screening process administered by a Regulator before guests may enter designated Play Spaces.

Regulators: Trained Life Itself staff responsible for consent regulation, active monitoring, and guest support.

Play Spaces: Designated, regulated spaces for public intimacy, subject to the relevant event’s entry requirements and monitoring procedures.

Guests are expected to respect boundaries, communicate clearly, and follow instructions from Regulators and event staff.

Consent is ongoing. It is never established permanently by admission, appearance, identity, prior participation, or relationship status.
